Nathan Wayne Widmer

He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on August 23, 1932, to his parents Herbert E and Nancy J (Evers) Widmer. Nate graduated from Hesston College (High School) in Kansas and attended Grace Bible College in Omaha, Nebraska.

Nate married Patricia Lou Penner on June 5th, 1952.

He worked as a life insurance agent for Security and New York Life Insurance Companies. He also worked at Oregon State University Federal Credit Union as an Assistant Manager and Loan Officer. He ended his career as the Owner of Willamette Security Systems, then sold it to Honeywell and retired.

He was a member of Salem Alliance Church and had a passion for boating, water and snow skiing, motorcycles and traveling the USA in his motorhome.

Nate was survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Widmer, daughter, Marsha Widmer, son, David (Dave) W. Widmer (LaVerne), son-in-law, Herbert (Skip) Buck, 2 foster sons: Dara Lo (Muy) and Davot Lo, 5 grandchildren: Joseph Buck, David R Widmer (Jennifer), Rachel Buck (Haanah), Sarah Diehm (Derek), Jessica Widmer Bernhardt (Eduard), 21 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Nate was preceded by his parents, Herbert & Nancy Widmer and 3 brothers, David, Daniel & Irvin Widmer (Sheryl).
