Nellie Ella Phillips

Nellie was born in Albany, Or. Nellie is oldest daughter of Charles and Lila Barber. Home place at Butte Creek Scotts Mills Oregon. Grandpa Tidemann bought the home place. Nellie went to Scotts Mills grade school and went to Mollala High School. When she graduated in 1955 made many friends and going to class reunion every year. She helped take care of her brothers and sisters, Albert Barber (D), Robert Barber, Richard Barber (D), Kenneth Barber (D), Bill Barber, Fred Barber, Mike Barber (D), Carl Barber, Wayne Barber, Betty Barber Vanvalin (D), Leona Barber Finley, Genevieve Barber (D). Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nellie was married to George Thomas Noble in 1956. She had two daughter Berlena Leona Noble Androus Miller (Charley), Denise Ann Noble Slate (Jeff). Nellie married Harry Phillips Sr. in 1970. They have one daughter together Sylvia Joan Phillips Shell (Oliver). Nellie was stepmom to Harry's Children, Teri Connie, Junior, and Alice. Nellie has a large family of 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Nellie enjoyed camping every year at the family reunion spending time with family. Nellie loved the Blazers, she got to go see them play live. Nellie enjoyed putting puzzles together and helping at the food bank. She also loved playing games, playing solitaire. She also loved scratch lottery tickets. She enjoyed going to church and womens treat. Nellie worked in the canneries in Brooks and Woodburn

Nellie's services will be on March 25, 2025 @ 11 am at Kingwood Bible Church
