Paul spent most of his life in Salem. In 1968 he was drafted and sent to Viet Nam receiving an honorable discharge in 1973. He attended Chemeketa Community College to become a Welder.
Collecting cameras and photography was his biggest passion. He enjoyed taking photos of people, flowers, and bugs. Paul also loved to work on cars. His pride and joy is the fact that he could make his 73 Nova go 90 in second gear.
Paul was special. He will be remembered for his gift, to share all facets of general information with anyone who just needed someone to talk with. His conversations were always knowledgeable and very upbeat.
Paul was preceded in death by his father Nels Langsather and his sister Amy.
He is survived by Vonah Timmins; Mom, Ruth Langsather; brothers, David (Karen) and Jim Langsather; and sister, Donna Schmidt. He was also blessed with 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
