He was born June 15, 1940 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Harold and Helen (Bloodgood) Bean.
Richard was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge #4 in Salem, proudly rising to Past Master. Richard served as Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the Coast Guard from 1957 - 1960. Thank you for your service and contributions Richard, forever you will be missed.
A visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302.
