Richard “Rick” Douglas Galloway, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away November 1, 2023 in Salem, Oregon surrounded by his loving family. Rick was born in Squire, West Virginia in 1949. Richard Galloway thanked God for his life and all of his many blessings. Rick married his High School sweetheart Sheila Luann Galloway in 1967 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Roseburg, Oregon. They had a beautiful love story and had the privelage of celebrating 56 years of marriage. He enlisted in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Kanas City. He served his country with honor receiving the National Defense Service Medal. Rick also had a successful career in retail management for over 24 years. Rick was gifted with a kind heart and gentile spirit that blessed every person and every animal that he encountered. He had a way of making everyone he met feel special and important. Rick loved the outdoors and created many good memories fishing and camping with his family and friends. Rick was a known “jokester” and rarely missed an opportunity for a well-timed joke to make you smile. He fiercely loved his family and deeply desired to see them all enjoying life. Rick is survived by his wife; his daughters Latonia Isenberg, Trysha Galloway, and Kali Leinenbach; his grandchildren Rocco Isenberg, Raquel Isenberg, and Zane Leinenbach; his son-in-laws Shane Isenberg and Jason Leinenbach; his three siblings, Jack, Brenda and Mike.
