It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Robert Luedeman, age 60, passed away on March 7th, 2025. His battle with the medical system for getting a liver transplant was nothing short of inspiring. When he discovered 'viking' in his DNA, he made sure to hold himself to those warrior-like standards, and never lost faith in his abilities. He fought, not for his sake, but for his wife Thelma, his children, his grandchildren, the family he was given, and the friends that quickly became family throughout his lifetime.
Robert (Rob, Robby, Husband, Dad, Brother, Papa Rob) lived by the motto to always be kind and loving and you will have everything you will ever need; not want, but need. Every animal was drawn to him, and if you asked him why, he would say that animals have great intuitions about a person's character. Be loving, and they will love you without judgement. What he might not have realized was that he was the same way despite how tough he wanted to appear. If you respected him and his family, he would love you without any judgements of your past or present behaviors ... he may have even joined in on those behaviors if they seemed fun enough and made for a good story to tell later. One of the proud accomplishments he could go on and on about (aside from how amazing his kids and grandchildren are) was his slalom skiing abilities. Rob entered to race the top 63 Olympic champions on a slalom course and placed 16th against the best in the world. He was a man of endless talents, but he found the most passion in his career as a tattoo artist. To say he lived a traditional life would be the furthest thing from the truth; he truly did live life to the fullest.
Thank you for your thoughts, well-wishes, and prayers. Hearing how he has
made an impact on your life has been beautiful to read. He wouldn't want us to grieve
his death, but to celebrate his life and insure his wife, children, and grandchildren are
safe and well taken care of. May his love encourage you to love everyone without
judgement. May his fight inspire you to give it everything you have. And if you've had
the pleasure to hear his ridiculous stories, may they remind you to live life to the fullest;
all while being kind and loving.
Continue following his facebook page for when the celebration will be held.
