Rochelle Risteen

Rochelle Ranae Risteen, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was 38. She is survived by her father Richard Risteen; her mother Denice Rivett; significant other Dan Smith; her sons Jeremy, Colvin, and Jordan; her daughter Kaylin; her siblings Christina, Debra, Scott, Isabelle, Jacqueline, and Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews; her aunt Jacqueline; and extended family.

Rochelle was born in Salem Oregon and lived in the Salem area for nearly her entire life.

In her short life Rochelle had to make some hard decisions; decisions made from a heart full of love for her children. While every family has their ups and downs, nothing was more important to her than family. Her desires for life were simple; to love and to be loved, to be happy, and to grow into a life filled with joy.

Rochelle will be remembered for her strong will, tenacity, and compassion; helping others in need when she could despite her own circumstances, and her contagious laugh. If you were lucky enough to be present during one of her bouts of laughter, you were laughing too.

She is and will be greatly missed.

Per Rochelle’s request the family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
