He was born in Oilton, Okla., to Roy and AnnaLee (Kinney) Stedman.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annetta of Turner; four children, Jon Stedman, David Stedman and wife Nikki, Cyndi Stedman, and Barbara LeGarge and husband Steve; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Don Stedman and wife Gay; honorary daughter Darlene Crouse; and honorary granddaughter Rachel.
At the age of 11, Roy decided he wanted to be in ministry. He served nine churches in over 55 years, most recently the Eastside Christian Church in Albany. He had no greater joy than preaching the gospel and bringing people to the Lord.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Turner Christian Church, 7871 Marion Road S.E., and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Eastside Christian Church, 1910 Grand Prairie Road S.E., Albany.
