Sally Ann Fullhart, 85, passed away on January 1, 2024 following a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born on April 27, 1938 to Earl William Coulter and Maxine Gluth, she spent her early years in Portland, OR before moving to Prineville, OR to live with her father and stepmother. She graduated from Crook County High School in 1956 and attended the Oregon College of Education in Monmouth, OR. She made life-long friendships with the girls at West House and attended reunions for nearly 40 years. During her time in college, she met and married the love of her life, William Marc Fullhart, and they were together for 57 years until his death.
Sally was a devoted wife and homemaker and raised four active children. She faithfully attended all of their school activities and sports. She had many interests including gardening, cooking, canning, riding horses, and camping. Sally excelled as a seamstress making formal riding cloths, wedding dresses, skiwear and garments for every occasion. She labeled her creations with MGS, which stood for Mom’s Good Stuff.
Sally enjoyed volunteering and served with kids in Girl Scouts, 4-H and in elementary schools throughout her lifetime. She faithfully served in her church, Our Saviors Lutheran in Salem for many years and then later at Zion Lutheran in Redmond, OR. Her love and service to others knew no bounds.
Sally and Bill traveled together all over the world. They always returned home with amazing pictures and new friends that they made along the way. Sally never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone.
She loved to surround herself with family and friends hosting countless family celebrations and holiday meals. Everyone was welcome and made to feel special.
