

Thomas Albert Baker was born December 25, 1964 in Phoenix, AZ, to William Melvin Baker, Sr. and Helen Louise Worthington. He grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Trevor Brown High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the service and did multiple tours and deployments for two different branches. Later in life he attended Linn Benton Community College and earned his LME (LTD Maintenance Electrician). He was a Chief Building Engineer with SKB where he loved his job and the people he worked with. Tom was an avid motorcyclist and was able to visit Sturgis SD for the largest motorcycle rally on two different occasions. He loved to travel, with his favorite destination being Kauai. Tom loved BBQ and was always up for trying a new BBQ place. In his spare time he enjoyed playing World of Tanks online. Tom is survived by his lifelong partner Diana LaRont, his two sons Austin Baker of Bend, OR and Brandon Baker of Salem, OR. His stepsons Mathew LaRont of Salem, OR and Garrett LaRont of Chandler, AZ. His brothers, Dusty (Beverlee) Baker and Wayne (Janice) Baker, both of AZ. Sisters Cindy (John) Ward of CO and Kandice (Kenny) Debelak of AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 2 pm at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral DIrectors.
