Todd Maher

Todd was born to William and Nancy Maher in Salem, OR in 1961. He was an easy going child who was no trouble and easy to please. A quiet giant that looked to help others and make friends. He graduated from Sprague High School in 1979 and found a passion for dirt track racing. Many of his races were around the northwest including Lebanon, OR.

He met the love of his life, Patti and their union became official on December 17, 2008 in Salem. Todd most recently worked at Ventura Foods for the past 13 year where he became the distribution manager.

Todd is preceded in death by his son, Todd Michael Maher; father, William Maher; aunt, Jean Wylie; and his beloved dog, Sparky. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Patti); adoring mother, Nancy Maher of Salem; cousins, Susan Hadland of University Park, WA and Scott Wylie of Auburn, WA; sister and brother in laws, Janell and Mark Bywater of Tualatin, OR and Lynn Penwell of Salem, OR; mother in law, Mary Gottlieb; and friends, Liz and Dan Buss of Salem, OR and Marty and Lois Parker of Dallas, OR; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

His laughter and caring ways may be silenced but they echo in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 20th at 3pm at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. To leave audio or online condolences please visit www.HED-FH.com.
