Died March 28, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah at St Marks hospital holding her daughters hand.
Born June 28, 1925 in Park City, Utah to Orville John Wilde and Emily Wilson Wilde. She married E. Howard Clements on March 7th 1942. Soon there after, they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. They recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary together full of love and happiness.
Beth graduated from Park City High School and loved playing the french horn. She also graduated from LDS business college as well as puttting her husband, Dr. E Howard Clements, through Dental School in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was very active in the LDS church and had many callings as a primary teacher, Young Womens teacher, and Relief Society Board member.
Best of all she loved the Fall. Beth enjoyed hiking the hills of Park City and loved walking in any season. She enjoyed the love of 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her book group. As her sight diminished with Macular Degeneration, she learned to listen to books on tape through the Blind Center. She also loved knitting and it brought great joy to her. Each grandchild and great grandchild received a baby blanket from "Marmee." Her loss of sight prevented her from seeing the yarn so she felt the stitches under a special reading lamp and could often be seen knitting in her chair as you came through the front door of her home. Those afghans are a treasure of love for her family.
Survived by husband Dr. E Howard Clements son Jack (Kris) St George, Ut. Steven (Sue) SLC , Scott (Patti) SLC, and Elizabeth, (John) in SLC. She was preceded in death by her parents and only dear sister Renee (Bob) Adamson.
Funeral Services will be held Wed. April 3, 2013 at Olympus Stake Center 4500 South 2700 East in SLC at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the Stake Center, Tues evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and at the church Wed. from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Internment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
