She was born on February 9, 1925, in Fairview, Utah, being the third of five children of Ernest and Roxie Rickenbach Peterson. She attended schools in Sanpete County.
She married Carroll Samuel Bills on March 19, 1943 in Manti, Utah. She loved being a mother and this union was blessed with three children, Ron, Judy and Pam.
After serving in the Air Force during WWII and the Korean War they made their home in Provo, Utah where their children were raised.
Carroll passed away suddenly on September 21, 1970. A year later on September 23, 1971 she married Joseph P. Slagle, of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the father of six children. He passed away on September 7, 1983 of ALS. Beulah married Jay Schofield on July 2, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jay was the father of three girls. He passed away on August 23, 2004. She had many wonderful years and fond memories of each of her marriages.
She was employed by Utah National Bank which later merged with Zions Bank.
Beulah was involved in several credit organizations and was a member of Credit Women International where she served as President for many years. She was also the first woman to become a member of Exchange Club and to receive the District Nine Outstanding Exchangette Service Award.
Beulah was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in all of the auxiliaries of the church, but her favorite calling was serving in the Salt Lake City and Jordan River temples for 27 years.
Beulah is survived by her children, Ron (Cheri Lunt) Bills of Sandy, Utah, Judy (Jim) Clark of Provo, Utah and Pam (David) Cassity of Draper, Utah. She is also survived by her sister Veda Peterson Schofield, fifteen grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 – 10:45 AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 with the funeral services from 11:00 AM – 12:00 noon at the Salt Lake Little Cottonwood 5th ward chapel – 6350 Rodeo Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah. Following the services, interment will be held at the Fairview Utah City Cemetery.
