

Donna Jean Call Holtum passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Tempe, Arizona, due to complications from Covid-19. Donna was born on February 8, 1965, in Santa Clara, California, to Neil and Annie Call. She had two brothers: Brent and Kevin, and a beloved sister Jennifer. She met her husband, G. Michael Holtum, when she was 15 years old, and it wasn’t long before they knew they always wanted to be together. They married in the presence of family and friends in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 22, 1986. Together they had three wonderful sons: Greg, Mike, and Richard.
If you were in need, Donna would be there. She was a friend, support, and confidante to all. She was never happier than when she was in the service of others. Her huge heart and willingness to serve, along with her children, will be her legacy. Many knew Donna as the life of the party and her beautiful smile and ability to make others laugh will be sorely missed. Donna is a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Her sudden passing has come much too soon, but her family is comforted by the knowledge that families are forever and that she is now reunited with her parents.
She is survived by her husband Michael, her sons Greg (Yesica Balcorta), Mike (Nicole), and Richard (Meghan), her grandchildren Mason and Riley, honorary grandchildren Jessica, Esteban, and Cesar, and her siblings Brent (Debbie) Call, Kevin (Robin) Call, and Jennifer (Evan) Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, 11:00 am, at the LDS Chapel located on 2245 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City, 84109. She will be interred later that same day at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Millcreek, Utah.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Arizona on Saturday, February 12, 2022, 1:00–2:30 pm, at the LDS Beck Chapel, 1221 West Howe Street, Tempe, 85281.
