Douglas Keith Young

Douglas Keith Young born October 29, 1926 in Salt Lake City Utah, to Francis Marion Young, & Foncet Goldsbrough Young. Passed away November 26, 2015 in Fort Worth Texas. Survived by Michelle and Jared Behunin, Stephen and Lynn Young, Tauna & Gene Junkins. Grandchildren Jarrad Barber Stephanie Lopez, Carson, Hildy Young, Curtis Junkins, Jennaa Szramiak. Great- Great grandchildren Ryder & Rayden & Emma Jae Lopez, Desirae and Brooklyn Barber, Lexie & Libbie Young and Nathaniel Nelson. He graduated south high school in 1944 then served in the Navy during World War II. He married Beverly Mae Young on April 23, 1955 and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Retired as a General Foreman for the Redwood Rd. Postal Service. He retired with honorable mention. Doug was a member of the LDS church. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and soul he was a very devout member. Dad was always there to help others. My dad developed Parkinson's disease of which he never let it beat him, he never complained. He was always "marvelous " he will be truly missed we love him so. We will miss you" Grumps"

Funeral Services will be help December 3rd at 11:00 am with a one hour prior viewing at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary at 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City Utah.
