Elizabeth Caroline Klein

1972 ~ 2018 Our dear, kind-hearted Elizabeth passed into the eternal world on June 9, 2018. We are devastated, but know through our faith in the Savior and through the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that one glorious day we shall be reunited forever.

Elizabeth was born on Sunday, January 23, 1972 in Napa, California. She graduated from East High School in 1990 and from the University of Utah in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. She worked in production for KUTV News and for iHeartMedia. Elizabeth was kind and gracious to all those she came in contact with. She liked all things Disney, classic rock concerts, and travel. She had a zest for life and a profound love for her Heavenly Father, her family, and her friends.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Klein, her sisters Alexandra Nigh and Heidi Klein, her nephew Dylan, and her dearest boyfriend, R. Doc Docter. She is preceded in death by her father, Werner Klein, and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 15 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 3401 S Highland Dr, at 2 PM, with a visitation at 1 PM. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the generous cards, flowers, and donations that they have received.

We were so sad to hear of Elizabeth's passing. Back in the days when we were doing the Jon & Dan Show, it was always a joy to have Elizabeth and her sisters come to our events and to know you enjoyed our work.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. May Elizabeth rest in peace and rise in glory.

Elizabeth worked with my brother RJ at KUTV and during those years I got to know her. She was a beautiful woman, had a sweet innocence and kindness that was extraordinary and you couldn't help but love her. I'm sorry for your loss, it seems like she left this life too soon, too young. May your many wonderful memories sustain and keep you until you can be reunited. The Lord will provide comfort I pray.
