Emelia Sue Muir was born on December 23, 2015 in Salt Lake City to Ryeley Allen Gail Muir and Amanda Pedroza Boothe Muir. She returned home to our father in heaven the morning of July 18th, 2016 while at home sleeping. She was just 6 days shy of being 7 months old. During that short time she touched more people's hearts with love than any one person could ever do.
Emelia was such a happy and sweet spirited child that people took notice of her. She brightened anyone's day that she encountered and they couldn't help but let her know how truly wonderful she was. She would hear remarks such as: “You are such a wonderful baby girl!”, “She is the MOST beautiful baby I have ever seen.” or “Oooooohhh! She's a special baby girl. Look at how alert she is!” She radiated love and happiness, so much so, she was always smiling. She was a warm and wonderful child through and through.
Emelia loved spending time with her family. She was so happy when one of her 5 siblings was holding or playing with her. Playing with Dad's beard was when she felt the most safe and listening to Mom's singing always made her smile. Her favorites that mom would sing were “Don't dream it's over” by Crowded House and “One and Only” by Adele. She will be missed dearly. We Love you Chimp!
Emelia is survived by her parents, Ryeley and Amanda Muir. Her siblings: Jonas B., Curtis M, Gracious M., Miles B. and Tobias B. Her paternal grandparents, Gail and Connie Muir, her maternal grandmother Kathryn Richardson ,and her best buddy, Audrey the family dog.
