After finishing school she joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving faithfully in many positions. She immigrated to Utah 1958.
A friend suggested Eva should apply for a job at AAA. She was hired and worked in the Travel Department. After gaining experience she was offered the position as a manager of that department. Eva had a pleasant personality and made certain the clients were pleased with her service. After 40 years she retired and was honored with gifts by many of her clients.
She loved her Nieces and Nephews and enjoyed many camping and boating trips with them. She had close relationships with Swedish friends, belonging to their sewing club, (syjunta) for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents, brothers Carl-Gustaf, Jan-Carl, Jarl (Libbe),and two sisters Birgitta Wesslen and Olga Randall and nephew Steven Randall.
She is survived by sisters Marie Toy, Barbro Larsen (Royce), sisters in law Mette and Inger Wesslen,(Sweden), brother in law David Randall; also nephews and nieces Claus, Sten, Mats, Dieter and Owe, (Sweden), David, Linda, Michael, Karen, Kim, Julie, Brian, Glen and Kristina.
Viewing and Celebration of Life will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Monday, October 25, 11 AM. Viewing will take place prior to Celebration. Face covers are required.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff at Pheasant Run Alzheimer’s Care Center, Managers Stephanie Klingbiel and Maggie Mitchell, also Seisi, Lisa, Holly, Joni, Rosemary.
The family expresses gratitude to Dean and Everett Gillen, also Dorothy and Pat who gave great comfort and friendship to Eva. Eva's many friends shall miss her.
Eva's family will miss her kindness, humor and many fun times together.
