George C. Melis passed away May 24, 2016 of natural causes. Born May 7, 1935 to Constantine V. Melis and Ifigenia Stamatis Melis in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated from South High School and University of Utah. Married Elizabeth Kay Arnold in 1963. Survived by two sons Michael and Greg Melis and one daughter Kamille Melis Andersson, two granddaughters. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill Melis and Nick Melis. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
