Glen was born in Salt Lake City August 16, 1926, graduated from West High School in 1943, and attended the University of Utah before and after his military service in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Dawna M. Dial in 1945, and they were the parents of five children. They were later divorced. Glen married Marjean Stauffer in 1976 in Houston.
Glen enjoyed a lifetime of activity in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, most recently serving as High Priest Group Leader Assistant. He served in three Bishoprics and two Stake High Councils. A highlight was as a stake missionary with Marjean in the Asian Branch, Houston Texas Stake, for five years. They later served missions at the Audio Visual Department and Utah State Prison.
He is survived by his wife, Marjean, daughter Margaret Bleak and daughters-in-law Annelle Bleak and Kate Bleak, 15 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons Steve (2009) and Jim (2018), daughters Marsha Olson (2012) and Melissa Jones (2016) and by two brothers, Gerald and Howard and two sisters, Jean Breinholt and Norma Engen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8th at 1:00p.m., with a visitation from noon to 12:45p.m. at the Winder 7th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East, with burial at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
