Dear Swope family,
I am so glad I got to know Jason. We worked at the U on the same crew. Jason was a hard worker. 
I loved it when I could get a smile out of him. He has a pefect smile that would light up the room. Jason was always very polite. I appreciated the man he truly was. He was a gentle, caring and hard working man. My you all find comfort in the sweet memories you will have of Jason. I sure do.

Mark and I saw Jason almost everyday as he walked along creek road and our street. He will be missed. Perhaps now he will know of the love and impact he had on so many. Our deepest love for your family at this time. May peace and comfort attend you during this difficult time.

I can't even put into words what I have discovered about this gentle giant who was truly an angel here on Earth. The outpouring of love from people who we didn't even know knew Jason has been overwhelming.

He gave me the widest grin, no reservation,.. simply a warm goofy one; after many times exchanging apologetic ones when i get in his way. We hardly spoke. Thank you Jason, for the brief safe moments your angel like presence reassured me wee morning at work. Thank you, that's the only word i wanted to say.

I enjoyed seeing Jason every day when he came in to help keep our offices clean. He was a shy but sweet guy, and always very conscientious. He also had much better taste in after-shave than most men! We'll miss him around here.

Dear Vicki, Terry, Lori Ann and family,

Randy has shared with us the sad news of Jason's unexpected passage into God's care.  Be thankful that you were able to share the joys of his life for 35 years.  We too have suffered the sudden loss of dear ones who have died all too early:  David Block, Ken's brother; Fritz Geib, Ken's cousin and best man at our wedding, and Todd Slauson, our nephew, son of Bev's brother.   We totally empathize with your loss and pray that you, your wonderful family and friends find peace and comfort at this difficult time.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jason will be missed. I always remember how he'd start up a conversation with me and how he'd laugh. I remember making him "marry" my neighbor when we were about six years old. He didn't want to, but cooperated kindly with my requests. Still love that picture! We also love to giggle about how when he was about the same age he'd eat the whole fried shrimp...tail and all. Jason was such a kind and friendly soul. Although we didn't see each other much in our adult years, I'll still miss my cousin! See you when I get there, Jason!
