1946 ~ 2021
Judy Bloker Todd passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City on March 9, 2021. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend.
Judy was born on December 14, 1946 in Billings, MT to Jack & Bernice Bloker. She attended high school in Denver, CO and later graduated from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. It was at Westminster that she met her first sweet heart, Mike Shaw, to whom she was married and had two children. After Mike’s passing, she met her second sweet heart, Joe Todd, with whom she also had a wonderful lasting marriage.
Judy was a school teacher and loved teaching first grade for over 20 years at Quail Hollow Elementary. She loved teaching her first graders to read and found it most enjoyable and rewarding. She was also an excellent seamstress, loved animals and especially dogs, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her two children: Kimberly Shaw and Kirsten Shaw (Matt Van Wagoner), stepchildren: Denise Dalton, Steve Todd (Jeni), and Annie Anderson (Ali), sister Barbara Hanson, 8 grandchildren, and Sienna (the dog).
Judy is preceded in death by her parents Jack & Bernice Bloker, first husband Mike Shaw, and second husband Joe Todd.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where family and friends may gather.
