Leo Ernest Olsson

1929-2014

Our beloved Leo passed away after a short illness. He was born in Salt Lake City to Elizabeth and Ernest Olsson. He is survived by his brother H. Stephen Olsson. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Elizabeth Olsson, sisters, Nina (White) and Lois (Brown).

Leo began his printing career at Deseret News as a typesetter. He worked in the printing business for over 50 years, during this time he worked at Deseret News, owned his own printing company and worked for Bushmen.

He was a Korean War Veteran. He owned several properties and along the way offered various jobs to his nieces and nephews. The skills they learned were anything from washing walls, painting, yard work and working at his print shop. His loving nieces and nephews are Mark (Tricia), Vicky, Philip, Lee, Robin (Brian), Chris (Tonya). His great nieces and nephews will miss his stories and they are Jenifer, Cynthia, Nicole, Alyssia, Jason and Matt, special friend Liz Crowder and many other friends and acquaintances.

Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 1070 South Foothill Blvd., SLC, Utah on March 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Viewing one hour prior to services. Interment at Lake Hills Cemetery, Sandy, UT.
