1922 ~ 2018
Lucille James Graham passed away August 5, 2018 at the age of 96 in South Jordan, UT. She was born June 21, 1922, in Salt Lake City, UT to Harry William James and Della Snarr James. Lucille graduated from South High School in 1940. She married L. Jack Graham on April 28, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served many years as a Primary Teacher as well as helping in the Ward Library. Lucille also served as a secretary for “Daughters of Utah Pioneers.” She loved machine embroidery, crocheting and especially oil painting with her best friends. She enjoyed music and spent many retirement years with Jack providing musical entertainment playing the Ukulele while Jack played harmonica with “Old Time Fiddlers.”
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Graham, daughter, Karen (Terry) Matheson, both parents, her grandchild, Darci Matheson and Great-grandchild, Skyler Graham. She is survived by her children: Gordon (Lona) Graham, Kelvin (Marlena) Graham and Jim (Karen) Graham, 14 Grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT.
The family will receive friends at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Thursday August 9, 2018, from 10:00-10:45 am. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. See wasatchlawn.com.
