Lydia Stoll Johnson, age 89 passed away peacefully on August 13, 2018 at her home in Draper, Utah. Born November 15, 1928 in Salt Lake City to Paul Stoll and Elizabeth Weiss Stoll. She married Floyd A. Johnson on September 20, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. She leaves a legacy of unwavering faithfulness and charity, having served in many ward, stake and mission leadership and teaching callings throughout her life. Accompanying her husband on four foreign missions was the highlight of their lives—twice to Brazil-Uruguay; to Tonga-Guam; and to Portugal. She has kept a meticulous accounting of mission experiences and of extensive travels throughout the world, devoting much of her life to genealogy and temple work.
Lydia is survived by her husband Floyd and children Judy (Mark) Young, Layton Utah; Marc, Sandy, Utah; Lisa Leatham, Salt Lake City; and Todd (Cindy), Draper, Utah. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, as well as her brother, Rowland Paul Stoll and sister-in-law Anna Jane Stoll. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Robert Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview 7th Ward, 11400 South 700 West, Draper, Utah. Viewing will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the services with interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
