Marcia K Olch

1927 ~ 2013

Marcia Olch, 86, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2013. Marcia was born February 12, 1927 to William and Bessie Karp in Boston, Massachusetts. Marcia married Gordon M. Olch, also of Boston on January 5, 1947. They were happily married for over 66 years.

Marcia and Gordon moved to Salt Lake City in 1971 and spent the last 25 years living in Park City. Marcia loved life and all of the adventures that went with it. She loved style, art, and architecture. She loved to ski and was a lifelong Red Sox fan. Always upbeat and positive, Marcia was the voice of reason and was a source of inspiration to everyone. She will be dearly missed.

Marcia is survived by her husband Gordon; sons Bradley Olch and Jonathan Olch and his fiancée, Victoria; grandchildren, Whitney Olch Bishop (George), Trevor Olch, and Alister Dopp. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Philip.
