Margaret Ann (Monson) Page

Margaret was born to Harold and Margaret Erekson Monson on May 27, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tragically, Margaret (senior) passed away due to complications in childbirth. After a time, Harold married Helen Mar Carter, and Margaret (junior) eventually gained six brothers and sisters who adored her. Margaret grew up in Utah and Washington. Her grandparents, Hugh and Julia Erekson, also provided substantial, loving care for her in her early years.

Margaret married Rex L Page of Kamas, Utah on August 9, 1957. They had two daughters. Together they owned and operated a dairy and cattle farm in Kamas and eventually Mills, Utah. Margaret also worked for the US Postal Service in both Kamas and Levan, Utah. Margaret and Rex followed many additional pursuits including chariot racing, breeding German Shepherds, and fishing and camping in their beloved Wasatch Mountains.

Margaret is survived by two daughters: Debbie (Greg) Valdez, and Kathy (Jack) Broadhead; five grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Rex, her parents, and a sister.

A service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 2:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing will be 1:00-1:45pm prior to service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
