October 11, 1951September 10, 2018

Our beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend Marloe David Morgan slipped into the spirit world Monday September 10, 2018. David was born October 11, 1951 to Marloe Gerrard and Peggy Marlene Moss Morgan. David is survived by his brother Jeffrey Lynn Morgan (Marilee), sister Barbara Hegland (Lloyd) and sister Janet Turley (Steve) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews that were the joy of his life. He truly loved children. David leaves a legacy of a love for photography, animals and nature. He loved to go to the mountains, it is there that he felt peace and safety from the pressures of life. David graduated from Ricks College where he sang in the A Cappella Choir and concert choirs. He had a beautiful tenor voice and loved to sing. David was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. David rejoiced in his opportunity of serving the Lord and people in the North Carolina/Virginia mission. He enjoyed all his church callings his favorite being that of teaching the youth age 15 in Sunday School. He leaves his testimony of his love for his Father in Heaven and his Savior Jesus Christ. David was born with many infirmities and trials yet he knew that his Heavenly Father was in the details of his life and he accepted his trials and physical disabilities with courage, tolerance and the determination to learn from them. He touched many individuals with his friendly, joyful personality. He truly accepted everyone. As a family we want to thank the many doctors, care givers, therapists and all others in helping with David’s care. A special thanks to his ministering angel, Anita Morelli, who truly saw David for who he is. My Dave.
He always called me "beautiful." Always. When we met. When we chatted or text. He called me "beautiful".
I felt his love for me. I adored my cousin. We grew up side by side. K thru 12. Me and my David.
Never a fight or unkind word. We shared kick the can and steal the flag and hop scotch and hide and seek at the flag pole on White park.
I ran over each Christmas morning to share in the fun gifts.
I walked home with him and road the bus with him and went to each high school reunion with him proudly on my arm...
He was the most Christ like man i shall ever know. He knows his Lord.
Be my guardian angel my dear cousin.
Till we meet again,
Marsha dott

One of the angels of our existence. David was genuine, without guile, accepted everyone. A true friend and example of how to treat others with unconditional love. He was so grateful for those who kept in touch and offered encouragement throughout his many physical challenges. I had the wonderful opportunity of knowing Dave for over 60 years. We were often classmates, starting at Libby Edwards on up through Skyline High. We spent many hours at his home and the old "White Park" neighborhood. He was loved by all and his memory will forever remind us to seek the higher angels within ourselves.

David was a lot of fun to be around. I enjoyed acting in Oklahoma with him but my favorite was being at Football games together. We lovingly called him "Megaphone" because he had such a loud voice when he cheered. When I visited him at the Assisted Living Center I went to lift him but he blessed me. I am now grateful for his peace and comfort!

I used to work with David at the Church Office Building Cafeteria. He was such a fun individual to be around and to work with. He never would complain even though it was hard for him to get around. He always made everybody laugh even if he was having a bad day. I really enjoyed the time I spent working with David.

There are people in our lives that have an eternal influence. For me, Dave Morgan is one of those people. I believe that some people suffer almost unsee mountable trials so that those around them can benefit by learning to serve, to think of others, to love. Thank you Dave for enduring your challenges so I could learn to be a better person. You will never be forgotten my friend.

Dave was the brightest and kindest soul of all! We loved him very much. We loved hearing him sing and loved his ever-cheerful and happy greetings and attitude, and his zest for life. He determined to never let his infirmities define him. Heaven had indeed gained an angel. We will miss him on this side of the veil!

There are so many wonderful attributes I could share about David. The one that keeps coming back to me is "kindness". Anyone that knows David understands what I am talking about. I love you David. I look forward to seeing you again. You are very beloved!
