Mary Carol Steward Miller

1924 ~ 2013

Mary Carol Steward Miller, age 88, died peacefully January 17, 2013 with her daughters at her side in St. George, Utah. She was born December 24, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Samuel and Mildred Fletcher Steward.

She married Jesse N. Miller Jr. May 15, 1943 in Salt Lake City. Carol was a great seamstress, she loved to crochet and do needlepoint. She looked forward to her weekly shopping and luncheon with her sisters and missed them greatly. She loved dogs as she always had one as a pet and missed her dog that died a month ago. Carol took pride in her home and yard with her garden being the envy of the neighborhood. She loved the family get-togethers for holidays and birthdays. We will all love and miss her.

Carol is survived by her children Jerry Kay Askee (James), Georgia Christine Schneller (Calvin), Yvonne Dastrup (Shane); five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse N. Miller, sisters, Norma Cherrington and Beverly Argust.

Graveside funeral services will by Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC where friends may call one hour prior to services.
