Our dear beautiful angel daughter, Rickell, departed this earth on January 17th after a valiant fight against MRSA and pneumonia. She continues to be a charming and delightful lady who is now sharing her keen insight and joy with those beyond this world. She loved life! Despite the incredible pain she suffered, so much of her life was a joy and incredible strength to us all. Now she is free to skip, run and soar through the heavens with uninhibited happiness. Rickell was a talented artist and loved many things including: chocolate, Thai food, coffee, baking desserts, shiny rocks, crystals, sandcastles, the beach, seashells, action movies, art shows, jewelry, angels, photography, cloud formations, sunsets, purple and silver, flowers, San Francisco, incense, parties, music and giving back to those she loved. Above all else, she loved to laugh; and share her time and love with her family and friends. We loved her dearly. Rickell will be desperately missed by her family and friends.
We want to thank the University of Utah Health Care Center Burn Unit staff for the wonderful care they gave to Rickell while she was there. Their loving professional care was extraordinary and greatly appreciated.
We also want to thank the counselors and other professionals who helped her face the difficult challenges of life.
We would to like to thank the owners and patrons of the Sunset Coffee Shop in Sandy for the love and care they always shared with her.
Rickell is survived by her loving parents, Fred and Gladell Weidner, her brothers and their wives, “Mikey” (Michael) and Melissa, Matthew and Kristen and their daughter Elliotte.
