3 years too long. What we wouldn’t give to hear your voice again! We love you more and miss you always!

1 year ago we lost you, and it still feels unreal sometimes.  We sure miss you more than you could ever know. What I miss the most is your laugh, and those great big hugs you gave me when you called me sweetie. I couldn't have asked for a better bonus Dad, and wish we had more time with you. Love you more.

I miss you Grandpa, I miss your laugh and your smile. I know Dad misses you a lot… I worry about him. I can’t believe it’s been a year without you.  You’re in my thoughts xoxo I love you 

The first day I walked in to the job at enterprise Mike said “He looks mean” where I replied “I am mean I just put a sore butted duck into salt water just to hear him quack” Mike said he’ll fit in. Fit in I did I enjoyed every time I was put on mikes team as I knew it would be filled with good work and a lot of gut laughing fun. I will miss Mike he will cross my memory from time to time I’m sure because he was just that kind of person!

I really loved my handsome, smart, sweet and full of life little brother.  I used to call him a little Devil when I was trying hard to become a little Angel!  He never stopped teasing me.  He once introduced my then little girls to fried cheese which I thought was unhealthy.   They still remember that as an important (!) night and how funny Mike was.  We were always very different.  He loved the Three Stooges, and I was more Anne of Green Gables.  When we were in school, he had to explain to teachers who knew me that he was NOTHING like me.  We were the two oldest children in our family and so we experienced the most common childhood memories.    We had a strong bond because of that shared time.  

I loved Mike the most over how he took care of our 99-year-old mother.  He ran countless errands for her, drove her to appointments, fixed things in her apartment, and called her every day to check on her until he just couldn't anymore.  I also laughed and enjoyed his stories of going out to Yvonne's car in the morning with coffee and a cigarette and listening to country music for a "commute" because he couldn't drive by then and he could barely walk.  He loved his wife and family, his pets from the time he was very young, his trucks, and his friends.  My heart is broken that he had to leave.  He was a really, really good man.

We worked with Mike at Enterprise car rental  David and I found humor in everything that he did and worked with he made our hard working days quite humorous and he never had anything negative to say About anyone he was a wonderful asset to our team we will miss him we offer our condolences 💐 to all the family David and C J Johnson

Just one of the best guys ever.  He found humor in everything and loved his family to the max.  Yvonne and kids we are sorry for your loss but know he is out of pain and catching up with all that have passed before him.  Gods Speed Uncle Mike. You are missed.   May all of your memories lessen your sorrow NaNa. We love you guys.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mae F. Quintana, his canine companions, Mia and Sarge and many other loved ones. He is survived by hisfather-in-law, Jose Quintana; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters; four brothers; 14 brothers and sisters-in-law; his dog, River; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
