Mitchel Al West

July 18, 1996October 6, 2020

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce our beloved Mitchel Al West has left this life suddenly on October 6th, 2020 due to a tragic automobile accident. He was born to a beautiful family on July 18, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Our “Moo Man” had a the most wonderful zest for life, infectious laugh and loving personality which will be deeply missed. Mitch was the most positive and kind person we have ever known. He had a passion for Go Kart racing, frisbee golf, and hiking.

Our family will never be the same without him, but we know that his light is still shining on us all the time. Mitchel is survived by his parents Barry and Tracie West, sister Arica (Ashley) West, and brother Ryan (Tyler) West and the love of his life Elizabeth Hurst. Maternal Grandmother Jilleen Nelson. As well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to concerns of the ongoing pandemic, the family has chosen to hold a private memorial in lieu of a large event. Mitchel loved coffee, whiskey, and being in nature; so, we ask that you pour yourself a beverage and say a toast with a loved one or friend to Mitchel.

There will be a public dedicated space to memorialize Mitchel in the future, please watch the family’s social channels for more information.
