Richard (Dick) F. Eaton passed away peacefully on October 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara, his children: Bill (Amy), Dave (Tami), and Debbie (John), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Dick was a lifetime member of the Elks lodge, Christ United Methodist Church and a member of Cottonwood Country Club. He was a Hercules retiree after approximately 30 years and was a Docent for many years at Hogle Zoo. He loved his reptiles and birds. He loved to golf, read, teach children about the different animals of the Zoo and listen to music. He was also an excellent ballroom dancer and square dancer.
Dick enjoyed scouting with his sons, horseback riding with his daughter, going on cruises with his family, and deep sea fishing.
Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather and will be missed by many but our memories will keep us strong.
