Robert Loren Meryhew, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12th, 2019 in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by family. Robert was born May 4th, 1934, in Colorado, to Loren and Alice Meryhew.
Robert worked as an aircraft electronics technician at Hill Air Force Base and retired after 30 years. Robert was a man of many interests, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing. He was a skilled photographer and leatherworker among other hobbies. Robert was a lifelong learner and always willing to share a quote or a piece of advice with family, friends and strangers alike. His unique perspective and meticulous approach to life left an impression on many, and will be dearly missed.
Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Meryhew, his childern Steve (Sylvia) Meryhew, Rick Meryhew, Cindy (Kevin) Wilde, Mary Ruth Meryhew, Robyn (KJ) Larsen, and many grand-children and great grand-children.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sister Bernice “Little Jo”, and daughter-in-law Karol Meryhew.
The family would also like to thank Robert and Peggy’s wonderful friends and neighbors, as well as the Centerville 2nd Ward, who have provided invaluable companionship and support in these difficult times.
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 20th at 10:15 AM at Wasatch Lawns Mortuary in Salt Lake City, with a graveside service at 11:30.

I only was able to know Robert over the course of the last 4 years but very much enjoyed our visits together. Praying for the family that you will have peace and comfort in the good life that Robert lived and the love that he has for his good family.
