Ruby Denos

March 20, 1925February 11, 2020

Grandma Ruby passed away in her sleep on February 11th. She is now finally able to dance again and is in the arms of her loving Freddy, Jimmy & Kathy Anne. Ruby had a full 95 years of life with so much fun and many stories to tell. She was a talented artist and loved to paint. Ruby and her son Jimmy spent every weekend for years going to yard sales where they found countless treasures and had many good times. After that she spent years having yard sales of her own where she made lots of friends and became a neighborhood legend for having the best sales and stuff around. She spent her working years at Value Village thrift store in downtown Salt Lake where she befriended everyone she met. She had a huge heart, a giving spirit, loved animals, and enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family. Everyone who helped take care of her in the last few months of her life loved her and said she was the cutest, sweetest lady they’d ever met. We love you Grandma Ruby, you will be missed dearly.

Interment will take place on Sunday, February 16th at 3:30 pm. Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.

A celebration and sharing stories of Ruby will be held Sunday, February 16th from 4:30-6:00 pm at the LDS Meetinghouse--2738 South Fillmore Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Utah.

All I remember what a mean aunt she was. She held on to my mother's things. When my mom passed away we tried to her things and she would not give any of it. My moms pearls meant so much to us. My fathers priceless gold bars and silver and so on. So she wasn't this wonderful woman.
