Russell M. Habbeshaw after serving a valiant life returned to his Heavenly Father on July 4, 2010. He was the son of Shirley Rees and Russell Habbeshaw. Russ graduated from Granite High School. He loved B.Y.U. football and was an avid Jazz fan. He enjoyed being with his many friends at the Holladay Lions Fitness Center and also the Murray Heritage Senior Center where he enjoyed playing bingo.
Russell is survived and loved by his mother, four brothers and two sisters. Preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the Mt. Olympus 9th Ward LDS Chapel, 4625 South Lanark Road (3305 East). Russell’s family will greet loved ones at a viewing from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Mark Zenger and Dr. Crayton Walker who were not only Russ’s doctors but his friends.
