Dear Pam, Greg, Lori, and Connie, 

This letter is filled with love, 

I always thought your mom and my mother, Marie Pearce Lish, were the most beautiful women on earth. Of course they were, they'd been best friends forever--from growing up in Beaver to raising young families together in Salt Lake. Somewhere there is a box tucked away with old year books and albums filled with pictures of our mothers together--young, adventurous, beautiful girls, perched on the edge of their small town nests, ready to "fly the coup" and head to the big city. They were a pair--a force to be reckoned with. And only your dad and mine could capture the hearts of these two babes. 

Your dad was always, "Cub," it was forever "Ruth and Cub," in our home.  I remember dinner parties, barbeques, New Year's celebrations--they had great times together. My memories of your folks are filled with laughter and antics that are the stuff movies are made of--I loved your folks.  How blessed you've been to have your mom this long. 

My mother thought the world of Ruth Robinson. She was a legend. I send my prayers and love to you and your family at this time of loss.
