October 16, 1960 – May 18, 2018
Steve (57) passed away peacefully at his home in Taylorsville after suffering for many years with pain and illness.
Steve’s life began in Salt Lake City as the youngest child born to John & Fotine Kelaidis. He was a devoted son who loved spending time & learning from his parents whom he considered to be his best friends. Steve was a skilled painter, home-chef, & gardener who was best known for his love of sunshine, palm trees, the color purple and cooking for his family. He walked to the beat of Rock & Roll music & was a major fan of the Sci-Fi genre.
Steve’s greatest joy was being a father to his only-child, Marina. He lived rebelliously, loved fiercely, & laughed endlessly. Steve lived his life through the foundations of his Greek heritage, Orthodox faith, & the endless support of his family.
He is survived by his wife of 27 yrs., Sally, daughter Marina (Trey) Kelaidis/Cox, parents John & Footie Kelaidis, sisters Mary Kay Bonica, Tina (Chuck) Dover, nieces Adelina (Brad) Littler & Andrea (Steve) Dover/Cundiff, and his nephew John Dover.
