1986-2016
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Tyler Orion Persellin. Tyler was born on March 1st, 1986 in Fort Collins Colorado to Terri Hunnewell and Scott Tyler Persellin. Tyler was self-described as having multifaceted interests, he loved body building, playing video games with his brothers, music, art, surfing, fishing, chasing girls, writing, and most of all his dog Walker. Tyler had a legendary appetite, 8 Idaho potatoes was a warm up to a dozen egg encore. At a muscular 6’4’’ and 320lbs, he would have been a king in another era, but an outcast in this one. Tyler was quick witted; his humor was always deeply satirical. Tyler’s world was different than ours, he never gave much thought to anything material, and he never lost his sense of wonder of the world and how beautiful it was. Tyler was more interested in the interactions between others, the world, and himself. Tyler went through life doing what made him happy no matter how it appeared to other people. Tyler was kind, thoughtful, and sensitive, he gave the biggest hugs. He is survived by his mother Terri Hunnewell, father Scott Persellin, brothers Zeviel and Jared Persellin, sisters Adriana, Michele, Melanie, and Miranda Persellin, 6 uncles, 1 aunt, mother and father in law, and his dog Walker. His services will be at his gravesite on Monday, February 29, 2016, 2:00 PM at B’nai Israel Cemetery, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah 84103.
