When my father first introduced me to baseball back in 2007 at Dickey-Stephens Park with the Arkansas Travelers, 7-year-old me idolized the players, and Aaron was one whose name and conduct carried with me always. Just today, at age 25, I learned the tragic news that he has passed as of nearly fifteen years ago, at just two years older then than I am now. I am sorry to his family and friends that his loss occurred in such an untimely fashion, but am amazed and impressed at what a great man he must have been based on the in memoriam comments. I never had the chance to meet him in person back in 2007, but please rest assured that I will now go forward with the memory of who he was as a person first and foremost, the fact that I saw him play for the Travelers now merely an added bonus. Thank you to his friends and family for letting Travelers fans like myself borrow him for the short yet impactful time he was with us.

I was a friend of Aaron's for the short time we lived in the same apartment complex together in Midland, Texas.  But even in that short time, I knew Aaron was a special person.  It saddens me today to hear of this news, as the world has lost a good man.

Aaron, I think about you every day. Work will never be the same and it doesn't get any easier. I'm so thankful to have an angel watching over me and to have gotten to have such an amazing friend. Miss you.

To Aaron's family, ya'll did an amazing job. Aaron was one of the best people I have known. We'll never forget his gorgeous smile and the fact that it could make anybody smile. I have been and will continue to pray for yall.

Dear Peel family i'm so sorry about your lost. i remember arron he was an awesome player in the angels. he was so awesome to the fans. it is just hard losing an awesome person and teamate to all the players he play with. truly going to be missed and will always be in my heart and never forgoten.

I played with Aaron for two years in the Angels system, and I lived with him for five months when we were both rehabbing injuries.  He was a wonderful teammate, roommate and friend, and one of the few genuinely nice people I've met in my life.  Aaron will be missed dearly by me and many, many others.  God bless.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.  Aaron was a remarkable young man who had so much love to give, and he loved you all very much.  God wanted him home for reasons that we will understand someday. Until then, please know that I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Two of Aaron's favorite Bible verses:
   Hebrews 13:5 - "Never will I leave you; never will I    forsake you."
   Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

Aaron is now healed and has peace. And for those left behind, he would want all to remember that God is always with us. Thank you for sharing Aaron with me - he has forever touched my life.

Our hearts are broken...Aaron-such a sweet, loving, beautiful soul.  We came to know him through baseball.  Our son, Greg played with him. Although I didnt know Aaron personally I knew of him from my sister Julia and how much baseball was a part of his life. I always heard of all his accomplishments and we followed up on him when he was drafted as well and I know he will always be an inspiration for all that knew him.
