Aline Holsenbeck Burkett

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Grape Creek Cemetery.

Aline is survived by her children Tommy Burkett, Judy and husband Steve Herndon and Jay Burkett; grandchildren Cody Burkett, Heather and husband Trey Johnson and Heath and wife Lindsey Elliott; great grandchildren Rylee Elliott, Chloe Powell, Olyvia Grace Elliott, Kaitlyn Goolsby and Kameron Goolsby; sisters Bea Williams and Eunice Canton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Aline is also survived by her special friend and caretaker Jewell Bridges.

Aline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.M. “Dude” Burkett Sr., and numerous other family members.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the entire staff of Sagecrest Nursing Home and Aline’s son and caretaker Jay Burkett for their dedicated care and loving support of Aline.
