She was proceeded in death by her children, Michelle Rangel and Fernando Joe Rangel Jr; her mother, Nellie Hinojos Tarin, and brother Joe Tarin. Alma is survived by her husband Fernando Rangel Sr; her children, Melissa and Eric Ramirez, Bryan Rangel, Ashley Rangel and Justin Ruiz; her grandchildren, Sierra Rios, Marissa Ramirez, Andrea Ramirez, Adamaris Rangel, Bryan Rangel Jr, Savannah Rangel, Faith Rangel, Nevaeh (Victoria) Rangel, Aydin Ruiz, Mercedez Rangel, Madyson Ruiz, Azariah Rangel; her father Cayetano Tarin; her siblings, Peggy and Pete Bara, Debbie and Michael Champion, Sandra and Rodney Stoner, Abel Tarin, Cayetano Jr and Rachel Tarin.
Alma and Fernando Rangel were married for 44 years. Their love began when they were in high school, and years later they began their life together on March 26, 1978. She loved her “honey” so much, her favorite part of the day is when he came home from work. She would always comfort him with her loving kisses when he would be apart from her. One of the things she loved the most was dancing with him, whether that be on the dance floor, the kitchen, or even on their front porch, she would settle for anything if she was in his arms. Their love was unbreakable, and she made sure it came across that way.
Alma was more than just a loving and devoted wife. She was also a loving mother and grandmother to all her children. She would make sure to speak to her children every day, and if she didn’t, she would leave a voice mail saying what was on her mind at the time she called. Her grandbabies and children were her everything, if they were down, she would be there holding them, and try to lift them back up. She loved to be surrounded by her family, that is when she would have the best laughs.
Alma was a humble and kind person; she would welcome anyone in her home. She never had much but even then, she made sure others had everything. She was so kindhearted and always let people know they could talk to her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
