Angelina Garza Riojas

She was born in Progresso, Coahuila, Mexico on January 16, 1930 to Adolfo Garza and Crecensia Perez. She married Tomas Riojas in June of 1952 who preceded her in death on March 25, 2009.

She is survived by daughter Silvia Riojas and companion Ford Smith from San Angelo; four sons: Thomas Riojas and wife Delores, Roy Riojas and wife Becky, Javier Riojas and wife Susie, all from Christoval, TX, and Robert Riojas from Brownsville, TX; three sisters: Dora Castillo, Juanita Trevino, and Maria Sanchez Garza; two brothers: Jose Garza and Raul Garza; twenty grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angelina enjoyed time with her husband and family – gardening and watching her hummingbirds.

Also preceding her in death are her parents, husband, one son Juan Jaime Riojas, one sister Maria de la Luz Garza, and one brother Fernando Garza.

Pallbearers are granddaughters Angel Russel, Rachel Franklin, Rosalinda Riojas, Amber Vega, Rebecca Riojas, Amanda Riojas, Ashley Aguirre, and Monica Riojas.

Graveside service will be January 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Ivy Cemetery in Christoval, Texas.
