Ann Billings

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 7 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Nathaniel Hankins officiating.

Ann was born in San Angelo to William Ray and Velma A. (Garner) McLaughlin on January 9, 1922.

She married E. Glynn Billings on January 31, 1946. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1989.

Ann was an outstanding woman, enduring life’s struggles, being tough inside, yet never letting it consume her life or her families life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends and always made them her priority above herself. She enjoyed practicing as an artist as time permitted.

She is survived by her daughter, Lezlie Bargsley and husband, John of Johnson City; son, Travis Billings of Austin; grandchildren, Jason and wife, Rhonda (Bible) Waits of Johnson City, Jordan Waits of San Marcos and Ashley Bargsley of Johnson City; great grandchildren, Aidan Bible, Raymond Waits and Jamison Waits; brother, Donald McLaughlin of Dallas and sisters, Nora Boswell of Plano and Gay Grauke and husband, Clyde of Garland.
