Ann Covington Henderson

Ann Covington Henderson was called home on Monday, November 5, 2012 in San Angelo, Texas. Ann was born Barbara Ann Covington on September 27, 1930 to parents, C.E. (Red) and Bernice Goelke Covington. A lifetime resident of San Angelo, Ann was known throughout the community for her bookkeeping skills and computer programming business. She was an avid tennis fan and an active bridge player who loved spending time with her bridge friends. Ann was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending Sunday school and church services, with a special love for listening to the choir.

Ann’s family was the center of her life and she was loved by many. Her fun loving spirit was contagious to all around her and truly shined through in her most recent trip with her son to San Francisco. Preceded in death by her parents, Ann is survived by her son, Craig L. Henderson and his wife, Jan; sister, Jane Drake; brother Ted Covington and his wife, Sandra; and many more beloved family members and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 3:30 in the afternoon in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
