Annie Lee McCallum

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 Pm Friday, August 13 at First Baptist Church in Marfa, TX. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14 in First Baptist Church in Marfa with Rev. Lloyd Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Marfa Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Alpine Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial services for San Angelo friends and family will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, August 17 in PaulAnn Baptist Church. Local arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Ann was born April 2, 1937 in Hico, TX to Ben F. and Leone (Mackey) Ward. She was a homemaker and was a former resident of Marfa.

Ann was married to George E. McCallum on April 23, 1954 in Del Rio, TX. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a son Galen McCallum.

Survivors include two sons Sean McCallum and wife Lauri of San Angelo, Ward McCallum and wife Sharon of Kerrville; nine grandchildren Michael McCallum of Oklahoma, Galen McCallum of Willis, Randi Whitis and husband Lester of Paris, Sean, Cody, Niklas, Connor McCallum all of San Angelo, Lucus and Ben Morgan of McCamey, TX; and one soon to be great-grandson, Baby Whitis; one sister Jonell Holmans of Stephenville; one brother Jimmy Ward of San Antonio and a special cousin Vencie Hutchison and husband Shorty of Hewitt. She is also survived by her special 4-legged companion Teddy.

The family would like to thank Mark, the staff and neighbors at Village East who made her time here in San Angelo so enjoyable.
