Antonia Griego Estrada

Antonia G. Estrada, 96 years old, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013. She was born to Macario Griego and Estella Losoya on June 13, 1917, in San Angelo. She married Theodore M. Estrada on July 18, 1934. Together they had 10 children - seven sons and three daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Ted Estrada Jr. and Manuel Estrada; and three grandchildren, Betty Ann Estrada, Robert (Bobby) Estrada and Raul Vargas. She is survived by daughters Ophelia Castro and husband Paul of San Angelo, Margaret Bentancoue of Beaumont and Sarah Vargas of Brownsville; sons Edward and Mary Lou Estrada of Irving, Rudy and Linda Estrada of Abilene, Joe and Minnie Estrada of California, Robert and Lupe Estrada of Knickerbocker and Louis Estrada of San Angelo; daughter in-law Alice Estrada; one sister, Julia Arocha of San Angelo; brother Gilbert Padilla of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Belvedere Memorial Park.
