Arnie Lee was a prominent rancher most of his life, but his real passion was horse racing. In his younger years he and his family moved around until they finally settled in Eldorado where he spent most of his years and graduated from Eldorado High School. He went to SAC now known as Angelo State University and Sul Ross State University. He moved to Dallas and Austin for a short time before starting his ranching career. Arnie Lee was very successful with his horses and they were his one of his life’s passions. Arnie Lee was a very caring and compassionate person and would give the shirt off his back to help someone. Arnie Lee loved going to new places and meeting new people. He had the amazing ability to walk into a room and make friends with everyone. He was a favorite Uncle, brother, nephew, and cousin to many, all whom loved him dearly for his warm smile and fun nature.
