Family visitation will be Friday January 20, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration for her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. Mark Bumpus of First Baptist Church. Burial will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Reid officiating.
She was born to Albert and Agnes Anderson on August 20, 1918 in Floydada, Texas. She attended Wayland College and graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a teaching degree.
Her life revolved around her children and being a Pastor’s wife. She loved serving her Lord and made two missionary trips to Russia. She taught Sunday School up until the end.
The love of her life passed away in 1993.
She is survived by Travis Watson and family of Waco; Peggy Beeman and family of Abilene; Larry Watson and family of Waco; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
