Barbara Ann Dean lost her battle with congestive heart failure Friday, December 14, 2018 at the young age of 81. Born to Jessie and Emma Gober on November 7, 1937. She attended Richland Springs High School. Barbara loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews more than anything. She was the life of the party and enjoyed life to the fullest. Barbara is survived by her four children, Donna Dierschke (Larry Dierschke, husband), Allen Scott, Melissa Dean and Wade Holland, 7 grandchildren, Brandon Clifton (Kelly Clifton, wife), Jason Hunnicutt (Jennifer Hunnicutt, wife), Coty Scott (Alex Scott, wife), Austin Brown, Kayla Smith (Mark Smith, Husband), Dustin Dierschke (Ashley Dierschke, wife) and Ally Cortese. 9 Great Grandkids, Harper and Sawyer Clifton, Dillon Dierschke, Emily, Kaelob and Brayden Jones, Abby, Halle, and Connor Smith, and 3 sisters, Shirley Russell, Sue Harding and Kathy Smith, and many, many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was known by many names, Sister, Sissie, Momma, Grandma, Nana, Aunt Barb, bump bump, babawawa, and Sqaw....... The love she had for her family and the love they have for her is unsurmountable, and their hearts will forever have an empty space with her gone. Although we lost the sweetest soul on earth, heaven is bursting with joy with its gain. She is predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Emma Gober and the love of her life of 30 years, Joe Lloyd. There will be a visitation held at Johnson's Funeral home on Tuesday, December 19, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Graveside service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas at 2:00 p.m.
